Having moved to a new house with a Starlink connection i thought i would just subscribe to the Videopass before the weekend. I just read this on their website. 'There is no dedicated WorldSBK™ TV App either.' Can it really be that the Videopass will not work streaming over Starlink via an Amazon firestick. Pretty sure the Starlink will not be an issue. Am i overthinking this ?
I've no experience of Starlink, other than knowing that it should be able to deliver the speeds required. Have you tried doing the sign-up using your phone (on WiFi from Starlink) - to see if you get the same messages?
What device are you using to do the streaming? The quote you've provided suggests there's no app available for Smart TVs. If you're streaming using an Android device, that should be capable of casting to the Fire Stick. Provided it's fast enough, your method of connection is academic.
As @GarySN says, it looks like your only option is to mirror from a mobile device to your Fire Stick. I mirror Discovery+ from my iPad to a Samsung smart TV without a problem. Andy
Well yes which is why i said i didn't think the Starlink itself would be the issue. As it happens i have done some more reading since i posted and the firestick is able to access the Videopass app and stream the races ok.
