  1. Saw that these were being deployed this week. Almost bumped into this lost delivery bot on the way back from the pub!

  2. Collected my first lot of contact lenses; let the fun begin…

And have been investigating how I can replace the drive mode selector on the car without resorting to paying the £243 the dealer wants.

  3. When I did mine, turned out the big 55mm socket for the rear wheel nut on my Ducati also fit the nut holding the flush mechanism onto the cistern. What luck!

  12. A very productive day.
A mate came around and helped me replace two leisure batteries in the campervan.
I thought Duracell were expensive but these were another level £482 for the pair, mind you they weigh 48kg each !
Then gave the grass it's first little cut this year, followed by lunch.
The eyes felt heavy sitting on the sofa, a nap may have happened.
Dry and double figures so a wondrous two hours out on my superlight . A nice day so far.

  15. If you havent done so already you should take a trip south of the river to his home - Downe House. It’s an interesting place and can be combined with a nice pint at a pub in Downe and/or a visit to the Heritage Hanger in Biggin Hill. Or trip slightly further and go see Churchills place. Plenty of nice stuff around for a day in the area.

If you find some change down the back of the sofa -get on a cruise/small boat trip around the Galapagos- a fabulous trip with great snorkelling. Really brings Darwin stuff to life. Did it a few years back, via Quito etc
