Selling my beautiful 1 enthusiast owner (plus me). 2002 998s biposto. The last in the 916 series. All creases ironed out. Only 650 ever made worldwide. An appreciating masterpiece. Very reliable. In great condition for its age. Hardly ever ridden in the wet. Always dry garaged, and is now. All original, including fairings. Termignoni carbon cans. Runs perfect. Recent full inspection at Ducati Specialist - oil change, new plugs, new battery. Chain and tyres less than 1000 miles. 28,000 miles on the clock. Gauging interest. Serious interest and offers welcome.
Perhaps it free to the person who really really wants it. I'm first baggsy, I can pick up tomorrow evening.
What is ‘serious interest’ if nobody knows how Much you for want? If you’re selling then surely it’s your job to put a price on it. you'll be able to gauge interest if people know how much you want.
Full disclosure, if nobody’s keen enough to come see it, I’ll probably put it on eBay/autotrader this week when I have time @ £12,500 and see how that goes. Figured I’d offer you ‘Ducatistas’ first shout, and keep things simple. Looking for a cash sale at £10,000.
Probably should’ve said the bike is sold with (rear wheel) stand, spare front oem fender (all red) , and original unused steel termi cans, (not that they’ll ever be needed haha)
Is there any forum policy against me adding my mobile number to this thread so anybody interested in making an offer or asking anything about the bike can give me a call if they want to?
forum members/sellers are not encouraged to do that Gustavo, set up a private message with them first.
why the nuke on first post @900theginge ? you don't take prisoners do you! advert could do with a second cleanup already!
I have to say, I did wonder what the ‘nuke’ meant. Didn’t want to take it the wrong way and say anything negative. I took it as a compliment - kind of suits the bike! Maybe you guys are used to riding a roaring v-twin, but I still can’t fathom the grunt and noise she makes. A thing of wonder. Someone please make me an offer before I lose my bottle and change my mind :-(
