Got the car fixed (broken switch) so I can now look at p/xing it for a different one. May have found it, might go & have a look on Saturday.

 

I've worked for this company for 11 years . A couple of years ago we were stopped from wearing them for a year or so due to insurance reasons?? All back to normal now though . I just drive the van, pick shit up, drop shit off, clean shit up .

Yeah, for us it was the aesthetic more than from an insurance view point.

Also included in the 'ban' on any site were jogging bottoms, football team shirts or anything football related in or on the van.

Had a test walk to see if my torn meniscus was repairing itself. 8 miles in so far so good.
Went to Hull Pot, which i think is a collapsed cave, the water dissappear into a sump at one end. I believe if it has been raining heavily it can't drain fast enough and the pot hole fills to the top.

Yesterday we went for lunch with friends to this totally uninspiring building at Trafford College.
Three courses each all prepared and cooked by catering students.
Fantastic food presentation and service. Highly recommend if anyone finds themselves in Altrincham. Booking in advance is essential.

Waiting indoors for an Amazon delivery because I’ve bought a Leatherman and Mr Starmer now requires ID at point of handover for pointed or bladed articles because (obviously) would-be underage psychotic child slaughterers can’t get hold of knives any other way. The delivery window keeps getting pushed back so it looks like I’m not going to get out on the bike to ride some lanes as I had hoped.
