Do you think those front brake vents do any good? Do they fasten via the caliper spacers? If so, not too much fuckery when changing a front tyre or pads…
Functional .. std part on a v4R I’m sure they will do something at mugello or Brno mid corner at 100 mph plus. Mincing down to boxhill probably not so much..
Wow that looks incredible! And interesting comment about the calliper coolers reducing fade and keeping them cooler. I think that will be my next upgrade! And red wings for the win btw!
yep I was sceptical about the cooling ducts but im happy to feel the difference, and you can see how dust free it keeps the callipers. The R wings were from Temu.......£160 in correct colour. As the Ducati ones are £800 and the first thing to hit the ground these are a great compromise of doing the job looking ok and fairly disposable!
Great to know about the cooling ducts...i will now add them as a confirmed item for the "list". Really the the wings are from Temu? They look great and as you say they are quite a disposable part in case the worst happened. Are they as stiff as the OEM ones?
If you want to go the whole hog, these, https://www.bikehps.com/acatalog/Br...MIraLmo96IkwMVr5NQBh1_7ACwEAQYASABEgLBDPD_BwE. Not homologated for MSVR (BSB) but highly recommended by a friend and FME on a track, makes a big difference on my Brembo M4 calipers, fitted with Z04s. Andy
I did the Ti vented pistons on my 22 bike....not so sure they made as much difference as the carbon vents...
I lied it was Ali express search it for the best price I think there are some at £62 atm make sure you order what finish you want as there are options https://www.aliexpress.com/item/100..._f_group2&o_s_id=1116833308&afSmartRedirect=n
With 320mm discs as standard, I didn’t have 5mm spacers to remove so the brake ducts were not an option for me. Andy
