So what have you done today..?

  1. I thought about doing similar, but was fearful of how it might smell, after being peed and crapped upon for a few years o_O

  4. My Chavturf sits on tarmac. I rinse it with the Karcher every spring not full power but y' know... I've no dogs crapping copiously, but the stuff comes up like new and undamaged.

  5. Its recommended that when you clean it up you douse the area with a watering can of water and disinfectant. Everyone I know who has artificial grass and have dogs rates it.

My only concern is that the big dog we have may rip it with her claws when she wipes her feet. But I will knack her good and proper if she even attempts it.

  6. I'm sorry, plastic grass is just crap, it goes with the crap unnatural plastic lives of the sort of people who have it.

  7. A little premature today for me as i've taxed the yellow bike, normally it's April for the first ride these day but with great weather which i'm a sucker for.......why not.!
A few damp patches out there down the country lanes with no sunshine doing it's magic under the trees, but who cares when you're getting your rocks off.
With $121 PA for road fund licence today, worth the ten pounds just for the one rideout in my opinion, also great meeting up with my old mates those f@'#ing potholes again.

  8. Raining arrows made a nice change from raining cats and dogs

  9. More painful though, depending on the size and velocity of cat/ dogs, obvs

  12. Another ride yesterday on the same vehicle, but on the return journey i could smell burning, i thought nothing of it thinking it was someone else's vehicle as you do and carried on, then the back wheel stepped out on the roundabout.
Look down, then jumped off, oil on the rear tyre.
With just a few minutes to get back to base camp i removed the fairing there, oil filter leaking slightly but i know i always over tighten those things up based on they are a bitch to remove.!

  13. I absolutely agree, and I fought long and hard to keep it real, trust me.........but the lawn and borders I had last summer, which looked fantastic, had taken a real battering over winter and had been trashed......and I mean properly trashed by the two pups. And it'd take a lot more time, effort and money to rectify and keep pristine. Plus the tiled floors in the house were forever covered in mud (they don't get anywhere near carpets thankfully!!)

Anyhow how do I get my “Live, Laugh, Love” cushions and my free years subscription to "Only Tans"?

  14. Don’t fancy the Tommy Shelby poster?
Or are you already in possession of such a masterpiece.

  15. I do understand El T, but at the same time I don’t understand the fascination everyone has with making everything perfect all the time, especially in the natural world, it’s not natural, if you know what I mean.

And if you have pups it’s sort of expected that your home and garden will never be the same aesthetically, but will be nicer in so many other ways.

B&Q sell large washable rubber backed industrial size doormats that take most of the muck off a dogs feet on their way in, if you can stand the sight of it in the room, which we personally can.

  16. Apparently these work really well, although wrangling two dogs into their respective bags every time they’ve been out for a pee might be a bit much. Surely they don’t get that muddy from 30 seconds on a lawn though?

  17. You wouldn't believe how muddy they got as they tended to head straight to the borders to "play".

I spent £1200 on plants/bushes for the borders last year and the little fuckers have trampled them and chewed/eaten them all up. The lawn was another £1800 and despite trying to water down and dilute their "business" the grass has been scorched and ruined beyond repair.

  18. Gonna get it tattoo'd on my back ;)

  19. Train them to pee into a drain? I know someone who did that with their dog. At my old place I trained Iggy to pee on the same patch of grass each time he went so that only about a 4’ x 4’ area was ruined.

  20. My point is, why does this have to matter so much?
Why does everything have to be perfect all the time?
You made a choice to own dogs, enjoy them and live with it.
