It really pisses me off when top dollar pants like these with AAA rating, are then fitted with level 1 armour !
Agreed, I've just paid out for some level 2 hip and knee armour but it really should come as standard.
Just different.....I've had 3 street triples over the last 19 years amongst others . I'm sure the V2 will be great after a couple of decent rides out.

Well I had my first run out on the bike since my "episode" last July Did 60 odd miles....went into Newcastle, then popped to see a friend in Wallsend, then came home via the coast taking in Tynemouth, Cullercoats and Blyth. Really good to be back on the bike!
Had my supersport service at Ducati Worcester, they loaned my a Multistrada V4S. What an easy bike to ride! No heated grips tho!
85 miles after work tonight . A nice ride, it didn't feel so strange to the senses . Starting to like it. Played with the modes and engine braking parameters. Tried the shifter/slipper, butter smooth up , the odd jerk on the way done. I guess it will better higher up the rev range later on as I'm only using half revs at the moment. Might have a small fiddle with the suspension next ride out , although I'm not much of a fiddler and it seemed fine enough so far .
