The link in post #98159 has some quite concerning information. More and more sophisticated software for scraping to train AI as well as personal data. Scary. Andy
It does catch the majority but the sneaker fuckers sometimes put a human touch to an application and you have to know what to look for.
In other news I have just booked tickets to see this show in July - https://kynren.com/ Oh and I've spent 3 hours re-potting plants and lugging them around the garden. I'm fecked now! (But I've done it today so I can spend all day tomorrow on my bike )
And another 10 deleted. Only 2 were caught by the software this time and the other 8 got through by including an avatar
First sunny day since October. Wasn't particularly warm 'cause the bloody wind didn't get the memo to take the day off. Put a few hours into cleaning up the crap left by winter in the garden. The roses are starting to wake up and some are budding, so I gave most of them a haircut. This year will be my summer of shorter, bushy plants as I've never tried that before. Good to see that most of my plants made it for another year, but sadly a few of the fir trees have some affliction. They'd better shake that off or they'll be in the bin pdq. Took a leaf out of @Expat Jack 's book and did a little spraying inside the house. Now I have a proper Nero fuel tank without scratches or dents. I'll clear coat it tomorrow if the weather doesn't object. Amazing how every year a little burst of sunshine bring so much energy.
Also put some trellis up and "trained" some honeysuckle up it. I started this morning at 10am and didnt finish till 4.30pm and hadnt had a drink or anything to eat in that time............but the garden looks half decent again, so I can go out on my bike tomorrow without feeling guilty that I should be doing something in the garden
I've a few places in mind that I'd like to see, hence the rush to finish my Monkey Bike. But I also really want to complete my Orange Meccano set aswell. Last summer that project stalled totally due to my van build & Euro van wandering. Which in turn meant I hardly rode at all. Not complaining but I need to avoid a repeat this summer.
You put in a a fair few more hours than I did. Which Honeysuckle did you get? I have one purple & one yellow. I gave mine plant drugs every 10 days when I first got them which got them to the top of the trellis quickly. The climbing roses also use the same trellis.
The drugs -sorry if you already know this- made by "Doffs" come in a bottle at the Range @£2.70. which makes 460 litres. Ix 10ml cap of the elixir =10lt with water. On year 3, I thought I'd skip doing it. The plants were fine, but the number of flowers crashed. I resumed the drugs and the abundance of flowers came straight back within 3 weeks. If I hadn't seen it myself I might not have believed the difference. Chavoturf looks a whole lot better if you have a yard broom to brush it back to standing up every 3 months or so imo. Only takes a few mins.
