This is a new guy. Quite watchable. I’ve watched most of the stuff mentioned above. Quite like the Carwow content but I find Mat Watson quite irritating. Especially with his girly squeaky voice when he gets excited. The twat.
I’m currently loving Roadworthy Rescues - the chap has a YouTube channel called ViceGripGarage. He’s got little names for engine parts, the seats and says things like ‘this is dirtier than a Miley Cyrus video’ - makes me chuckle. He gets cars going that you’d think were scrap - clever chap.
If you didn’t watch it, I would recommend catching up on the shed and buried helicopter special on quest tv last night. It’s 2 hours long with the usual suspects. Great tv.
Christ I guess he's still going then or are these old posts by him. Was a great watch for a while, I recall one where he was fixing it in the Motel car park to drive home ridiculous miles. Pocket full of fuel filters and spark plugs. Can't remember his favoured catchphrase now.
Fuel maker-happeners and sparkolators you mean? No new series on TV as yet, but that’s the same for many automotive programmes over winter for some reason. I’d noted most of Henry Coles stuff seems to have been filmed in the cooler months.
Mototrend shut down production on all its shows, I think. So, no Roadworthy Rescues, Roadkill, Engine Masters and the many more great shows they used to produce, I believe some have gone back to producing their own shows again on Youtube. This is not Gospel just my recollection.
I caught a couple of episodes of 'Full Custom Garage' with Ian Roussel recently. He's a clever guy that makes fabrication look really easy. And of course I'm always impressed that his two Dogs do the quality inspection.
Yeah, Ian Roussel is probably one of the most creative builders out there..definitely taking over the mantle as one of the best hot rodders.
Some of the restoration shows are a joke. No chassis left due to rust and they repair with a patchwork of bent steel and patches. Crazy. I used to watch these two, fairly entertaining and the mechanic seemed to really know his stuff: ‘wheeler dealers france’ In French, but it doesnt spoil it too much even if you dont know any! https://www.facebook.com/wheelerdealersfrance/reels/
I have seen Finnegan's Garage, David Freiburger and Stay Tuned (Tony Angelo) Youtube channels pop up, all seem to be doing similar stuff as before
I like REPerformanceUK, good mix of banter, diagnostics, mechanics and driving. Ricky is into bikes too.
