  1. My mate had one in Grays, Essex until the council CPO’d him to demolish.

There are 2 in Southend on Sea and one in Rayleigh so quite a few this way.

  2. One in Basildon is still there also.

  5. Thanks for the kind wishes lads; nice cup of Coco and bed for me now:joy:

  6. Well I was right about the amount of bots we would receive yesterday…….just over the 100 mark.

Today has started well…..just the 26 so far. Twats

  7. Early morning walk along the north edge of the North Yorks moors.
Unfortunately the clouds were spilling over the escarpment so not much of a view across the Tees valley today. And bloody freezing.
But perhaps this is the best view of Teesside, mostly obscured by mist :joy:

  9. Apart from my early morning deletions of the daily bot fest I've written an email of complaint to a company over their lack of service on an order I placed weeks ago, had a video meeting with my pensions company, been to the shops for a prescription and some screws and rawlplugs and I've finally put up the retractable washing line for Doris.

I'm now having some well earned lunch before having to take a belated birthday present to Doris's son :)

It's non stop at El Toro Towers :)

  10. Just got back from playing golf at Bognor Regis for the first time since July 16th 2025. It was really nice to get out again after such a long period of inactivity. Good company, good Guinness and didn't play too bad for an olden either.
Bike ride tomorrow on my new tyres so guess I need to be a bit careful bedding them in.

  11. Scrapped my daughters Ford Ka , about £750 to fix it so not economical really . Got £200 for it . Reserved a Toyota AygoX for her at Toyota Watford on a 22 plate . She's saved up 90% of the money but the bank of mum and dad has stepped in for the last couple of grand . Told the salesman we'll be there at 9am, not told her that yet as it's a 86 mile journey so no lay in tomorrow for her !
