  11. i also had a low mileage yellow one, it wasn't as quick as earlier 750 Ducatis i'd owned but i put it down to running in - do you think it's possible that it was the colour all along?

  12. The weird thing is that the 750ss from 1991 has completely standard non adjustable original showa forks and original sachs rear shock ,, both rebuilt and refurbed but not modified ,, and yet the handling and suspension accuracy and comfort is better than any other ducati I have ever ridden even ones with latest electronic suspension or Ohlines etc ,, So Ducati could get it right from the factory when they wanted to!!!!!!!! without fancy kit or overfirm springs and damping that plague many Ducatis as standard

  13. Definitely

  14. Nope ,, mine can challenge 900s even though it only has a 5 speed box ,, my mates with BMW 1000rr and Panigalis and latest V4 Ducatis never get away from me for long on the m750 , the S4 is out in thailand and is actually faster than my 2022 Kawasaki Z900 , may be because its 25 kg lighter ??? ,,,

  15. apologies Jerry, you couldn't possibly know that I was joking as you haven't got to know me or any of the other others yet.:)
A very "loose' but well maintained 750 will definitely give the average 900 a run for its money, but a lot of of this is down to the pilot's use of gear changes etc obviously.

  16. Welcome Jerry.

    Love that 750Ss!

  17. barmy pilot that rides like a Thai on meth also helps
