(small) Bike Things You've Done Today

  1. Croydon didn't strike me as overly communicative.

  2. On my V4 Rally I fitted an Akrapovic end can, probably a waste of money as you can barely see it with the pannier frames but I know it’s there.

Also fitted the Conquest Carbon fibre combined chain guard and rear hugger that I harvested from the V4S. I still have front mudguard to fit, maybe after dinner.

Off work now until Monday, hopefully it might warm up a little and I can go for a spin.

  3. I'd got jpdiag and guzzidiag before I got the 999, but never used it. For one thing haven't had a laptop in more than a decade. Well the Dell Latitude came today and I just ordered both the Lonelec TuneECU kit as recommended by @chrisw and a USB mike for twanging the timing belts.

The front axle alignment tool's supposed to be coming today and the crank turning tool tomorrow.

("It's getting so exciting, I want some more!"
    "You what mate?")

  4. Agreed. Let’s see how Hyside fare in comparison….

  5. Picked up the 1199 from MoRap with the Racetorx rear brake conversion.

This has changed my track riding beyond belief, especially with the SuperMoto riding.

  6. I bet that’s fun. I’d be backing it in to every roundabout I came to if I had one of those, but thankfully I don’t, so I save that sort of nonsense for off-road ridiculousness :D

  8. Fitted the Carbon Fibre front mudguard and Roadlok that I bought a year ago.

Stashed all the parts I’m not using in the garage loft, so garage is looking a lot tidier.

    Still deciding whether to

    a) Continue with my Garmin XT 2
    b) Fit a new W502 Carpuride
    c) Fit a used W702 Carpuride

  9. Had the first service done at Pro Twins at Godstone on my multistrada V2. £252 lighter .
