So what have you done today..?

  1. Wow, that is one magnificent building and is reminiscent of Roedean private girls school in Brighton.

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  2. Pass, but the other one who didn't lose her nut was Ann of Cleves based just down the road in Bletchingley.

  5. Spent the afternoon walking around shops trying on suits. Worst day of my life. They’ll have to take me as is.

  8. Took my dear old mother to hospital this morning for a check up. I’ve been reminding her all week about the hour change, which she completely forgot about and as a result was running late
Luckily I had built this foreseeable error into this morning’s manoeuvres and we arrived on time.
Home now with ice pack on my knee.

  10. Thanks I’m not good at this doing nothing thing.
And I fear I’ll become a proper pain in the arse with all this complaining and demanding attention stuff, as my loving wife puts it

  11. Oh Susanna, don't you cry for me!

  12. I'm sure you will get better. Complaining and demanding attention & stuff is just another skill set to learn.

  15. With Spring on the horizon I thought I would adjust the 6No ill fitting Anglian double patio door hinges that have been shut for 6 months. Quick review of the procedure on You Tube and armed with a 2mm;4mm;5mm Allen key plus screwdriver I set about. First job is to remove the security grub screws. All six were seized and the Allen heads all stripped:triumph:. Shut doors, put away tools for another day and stuck the Telly on!!
What was supposed to be a ten minute job will now likely be a days work to rectify. So frustrating but enjoyed reading lots of posts on here:grinning:

  18. Listed a vintage Fender for sale, feck me the morons are out. It’s already cheap based on what is around so I get this fuckwit saying it’s well overpriced. I don’t know why I bothered but said, if you can show me examples that have sold for the money you suggest I am happy to look. He promptly puts up a link to an absolute dog that has sold for £1550, £300 less than mine is up for. And the bonus…… post to UK was £320. Sensing a bit of fun was to be had, I asked how he planned to get a similar one, he said he would pick it up. Last time I looked flights to America were more than £300:joy:

  19. Ride out to Industry and Supply at their new location, bacon butty, coffee and car park full of petrol fumes..
Broke a few rules on the ride home, good day.
