(small) Bike Things You've Done Today

  1. Getting there.

Previously I said I was unimpressed with the design of the tail unit attachment method and somebody needed a good kicking in Bologna.
I would like to add the person who designed the mirror/indicator to fairing attachment method to the list - a new level of swearing could be heard in my garage today.

  2. I feel your pain. To a degree it’s modern bikes (you should see the crap,on my mates Yamaha) but some stuff just doesn’t make sense. I did service on my multi today. You can do an oil change without removing the undertray but it’s a ballache and you can’t clean it all properly. The rear two fixings require you to take off the centre stand. Just why? They only need moving 20mm forward and it would be so simple. There were a couple of ffs coming from my garage today.

  3. Weekend away. So far so good, no rain .

  4. I've just put my airbag vest and PackTalk on charge in the vain hope that I can find a petrol station with fuel tomorrow so I can ride to meet my Manchester buddies in Settle

  5. A good days riding, sunshine and heavy showers. Coffee in mablethorpe. Lovely roads. Back at the BnB , but no food tonight, so hopefully can get a delivery. Rolled over 1000 miles for the first month of ownership

  6. Managed to get out for a few hours yesterday, was great to be out. Am contemplating another solo Euro tour this summer, as my mate I normally go away with has too many commitments.

  9. Looked at the Humber bridge from a different angle, and Hull looked ok from a distance. Nice to be on the bike in decent weather, was a bit blowly on Saturday
