If its on a 66mm crank? That's a piston speed of 29.5 m/s at those revs. That's why they had to be rebuilt after every WSB weekend.
“Very original and unrestored”, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/30684175...diN9fQek1bQy8O8IfY938Upw==|tkp:Bk9SR8yn892kZw. I never knew Ducati made orange 3 spoke wheels Andy
yes, loads of stuff upon looking. Always winds me up when this comes up on a search with a price and then the penny drops that it's an auction.
Quite interesting. Has the cross brace frame mod, 749R type tank, maybe also 749R frame? Doesn’t say what the motor is. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/15779557...vg57vQwv054kztqTa9nO5dVdfk|tkp:Bk9SR_TNp7anZw
This is actually quite a lovely thing, and not really over-priced compared to trying to build one yourself. I just don’t see the venn diagram intersection of people who want to ride it, can still ride it, people who can afford it, and those who want to afford it containing many people at all.
What could you say in support if someone you knew bought one of those and was proudly showing it off? I might manage “well now…Wow. That’s… um… quite something… yes… quite something indeed. I bet you won’t see many others the same while you are riding”
Maybe the pictures on ebay are distorted. It looks to me like the unholy union of something like a Hayabusa and a T-max scooter, front-ended hard into a wall.
