I feel quite sorry for him he’s clearly got some kind of addiction to all the meds he’s had to quaff down the years. Murky though.
Tiger allegedly needs the meds due to the injuries from the car accidents... The first crash in 2009, he was either drunk or stoned, was not charged with anything and was in peak physical condition. Now, after nearly killing himself and others four times, regularly driving under the influence for almost 20 years, I have zero sympathy. I think jail time is appropriate.
Difficult one, I would more likely say compulsory long stay visit to rehabilitation home/clinic, at his expense plus regular check up for addiction/sobriety for X months/years.
Me too. If he was just an ordinary member of the public he'd have been prosecuted numerous times. How many chances should he have?
Amazing what you can get away with if you've become a billionaire from hitting a ball round a field with a stick.
I'm puzzled... If a pisshead or druggie lived nextdoor, or in your street/ village/ town and kept on crashing cars due to driving under the influence you would all be outraged. Woods doesn't just have minor incidents. He roars along and hits other vehicles with such force it typically results in a rollover, just look at the pictures. Then he gets up, goes to hospital and doesn't often even get a fine. I actually think it's far more likely that he does have minor accidents too that he bribes his way out of. Tiger is every bit as much of a "scrote" as anyone else who does this continuously. Luckily he hasn't killed someone.
The irony of this is that in his prime he was probably the best driver of a golf ball I have ever seen.

Agree with your last sentence, but how long is a piece of string? Duke (who was at fault) just said "Sorry" to two females in other vehicle, and just got another car and was driving shortly afterwards at 97 years of age.. Prison could be an option but just looking at alternatives like a ban for 10 years and X million dollar fine etc etc.
I agree, dipshit Philip should have faced court despite his age. I also agree that once time proves someone to be a serial offender, jail together a consecutive long driving ban and a massive fine relative to your wealth should be imposed.
it will always fill me with joy recalling when the Europeans pissed on Donny’s chips at the Ryder cup last summer. Not just the fans but the players and staff too.

I once tried to dispose of an old bed and mattress at my local tip. They wouldn't let me in because I was driving a van. I explained that the van was my only vehicle. I didn't possess a car and I was there as a private citizen, not a tradesman, with my own household waste to dispose of the same as every other council tax payer, so what was I supposed to do with it? Dump it on the side of the road? He agreed that that would be the best policy and that within two days it would be picked up and removed to the same tip that I'd tried to take it to in the first place. I didn't do that in the end. A friend took in to the tip in his car. But I've had failed refuse collections and taken my household waste, neatly bagged, and dumped it in bins in a nearby lay-by and it was gone with a couple of days. Draw your own conclusions.
You can apply to your local council (should be on their website) for a commercial vehicle and trailer permit. It's free, you just need to provide vehicle details and you get 12 permits per year. I had to do it when I had my pick up as that was classed as commercial too.
You can now. This was 25 odd years ago. They'd brought in the ban on commercials more or less overnight. I think they had to bring out the exemption scheme because of fly tipping. They still don't like giving me a van permit because I have a car. They don't seem to understand that it's a lot easier to get a mattress/old fridge etc in a van with an eight foot roof rack than in a 4x4 hatchback with just enough boot space for the shopping. What annoys me is the assumption that if you're a self-employed tradesman with a white van you must be up to no good and on the take or moonlighting. I'd happily take rubbish to the tip for my neighbours for free if I was going anyway. I can get three times the amount of stuff in it that they can in their cars. It would save two unnecessary car trips. But I'm a white van man so I must be a tax-dodging, fly-tipping, far-right scoundrel, when the vast majority of us are just ordinary people like everyone else.
