I've brought a fxtul M4 duc to read codes and clear he service countdown on my 959 track bike. It's connected and able to read codes etc and there's an option for oil service and desmo service reset. I've done both these but the countdown is still displayed when you turn the key on. Any ideas? First time with a bike that needs a code reader but us them regularly on cars.
No idea to be honest, it's counting down and is showing 900 miles. It's only a track bike that was a previous tri options race bike so service schedule is irrelevant, just annoying
Ducati’s own workshop electronics cannot reset the service indicator until the service mileage has been exceeded. Andy
Perfect, thanks for clearing that up. Wasn't sure how it worked as normally with cars you can reset them early.
