  1. Yep. Not only sharp teeth but a very power bite force for their size. Roughly twice as much psi than the average domestic dog and more even pound for pound than a grey wolf.

    They're mustelids which are related to bears (they both have five toes) but only very distantly. The mustelidae family includes stoats, weasels, martins, ferrets, badgers and otters.

    I've had very tame and affectionate ferrets that I could trust completely like a favourite dog or cat. I wouldn't put one down my trousers (claws more than teeth) but mine used to like to pile inside my padded shirt for a warm up on cold winter mornings. I'd never trust a badger.
