I’ll start…. Threaded it through a needle. Hardest corner on the calendar. He’s just got no one lap pace Marginal gains.
Toseland can't mention J Rea without starting it with "the 6 time world champion" usually enough times per race to fill a bingo card several times
Nick Mullins commentating on Sarries V Northampton on Saturday couldn't open his mouth without revealing his man-crush on Henry Pollock
Matt Birt's sayings annoy me. Going through a purple patch It's early doors Then there's the alliteration used at any opportunity.
The clown who commentates on Wss on ITV4 He's in fird place on lap free wiv only free laps to go And who exactly is Tom Boof amos? BOOF?
Henry Cole uses the term "quintessential" frequently to describe classic British motorcycles and their associated culture. His usage often highlights specific features or brands that he believes represent the purest, most iconic example of a particular era or style, such as: 1961 Dresda Triton 750cc: Described as "the quintessential Café Racer". Monocoque styling: Described as "quintessential late '70s/early '80s". British handmade motorcycles: Represented as "the quintessential British handmade motorcycles" by his company, Gladstone Motorcycles
Add the annoying throat clearing thing he does too. Although maybe someone’s had a word as he seems to do it less lately.
No not Shakey, just some mug who reads a script really badly, has no knowledge of the sport, can barely speak English and has no emotion in his voice... Come to think of it, sounds like most commentators in actual fact ;-)
The impossible job etc.. the really good ones are the cycling and golf comms who have to fill 6 hours plus with nonsense and 15 minutes of actual action, and still keep you interested. Rob Hatch is the future.
Peter Alliss was absolutely brilliant at that; he also realised that good golf spoke for itself and didn't need much adding to it.
