  1. There's a weather thing in the lift that I just noticed for the first time. It said 18, but there's a cold wind that howled through the coffee shop when the automatic doors opened for anyone and that wind is well-unpleasant. Live and learn. Never here in April again. I am back in June. Surely, it will be warmer!

  2. Accepting the fact that weather apps, predictions and long-range forecasts just openly lie, indeed the universal language of weather forecasting is lying, so then may as well just go where I want.

Italy I fancy. The previous target of avoiding flying is just not going to work. I cannot risk getting over tired by driving or riding anywhere, so flying seems likely.

I could do the Ducati museum if it still exists. I can't remember where it is, but I will look it up and see if I can get to the nearest airport avoiding RuinAir

  3. BOLOGNA

I cannot investigate further as everyone assumes I want a cheap flight there from Spain. IT MUST BE CHEAP!!!!

Argh no. It doesn't have to be aircraft hold class, but just be convenient. I can't look in Spain. This is where a VPN would be helpful.

  4. RyanAir is allocated seating now.

  7. Dunno when, dunno how, but it will be Bologna to organise next. It will be summer/Autumn time when it's done and it definitely, definitely won't be Ryanair to get there.

I don't really want to fly and could probably do it by train in some involved fashion but think flying would be easiest. Even if I go from Bristol to, say, Schiphol, Milan, or Orly to connect to a Bologna flight, that I would do.

  8. KLM do it they claim. Now that could be via Schiphol but not being in a hurry, I don't care.

  9. I come on holiday to arrange another holiday. I may be a bit mixed up, but that's ok. There's a Lamborghini Museum there as well as the Ducati one. It all has to be done.

  10. There are plenty of flights to Milan and from there it’s a short train ride to Bologna, the tickets for which you can book via the Trainline app, you’ll be impressed as to how efficient the Italian train system is.

  11. I would also suggest that you might fly into Milan, stay over, then train to Bologna see museums etc, and the train to Venice or Pisa for another stopover. All these airports have cheap flights from the UK

  12. I've installed Surfshark on this PC. I should be in the USA but I am unconvinced. The BBC website works fine, as though I am in the UK, and it shouldn't if it thinks that I am in the USA, I think.

Next, I will set my location to Spain, where I know for definite the BBC iPlayer shouldn't work. This VPN game is not straight-forward, Your money is taken at the outset, but whether you get anything for that money is well-optional!

  13. Cancel that. Netflix, has thrown a fit!!!!

  14. Yeah, cancel that. I signed into Netflix and it has gone full-on racialist! Deffo in the USA!

  15. I just opened Google Maps. It normally defaults to my address in Gloucestershire, but instead I got this:

    I guess it must of worked. . . . . . .

  16. And BBC content is not available, so deffo working!

  17. Tbh I'm not sure what you expected if you set your VPN to the USA :bucktooth:
