Ordered new SF V4s corse in January, deposit paid, old V4s in as p/x, told del approx 6wks (I’m guessing that was a very loose estimate), old bike sold (they have kindly cleared finance), so I’ve no bike and no sign of the new one, can’t even give me a date, I was shown order and their latest news was it had build date end of march, told approx 10 after that, feel like I’m getting the run around tbh no longer believe/trust the dealer Phoned another dealership and within an hour they’d phoned Ducati UK who contacted Italy and obtained another slot, contemplating throwing in the towel or changing dealer (not sure how I stand financially with that one) Is this normal?, got last one from Curtis at Nottingham and it was a breeze
It maybe me misunderstanding you, but if your build date was end of March, and it’s now end of April, it should be built and on it’s way and you are around 4 weeks into the 10 week delivery period, so should expect your bike in around 6 weeks. If Ducati UK have another future build slot you are 10 weeks plus the time from now to the slot? Maybe ask the dealer to confirm build is complete and provide chassis number?
so it’s 6 months from order?, if I’d known I would have kept the other, I was told 6 weeks ish when I paid deposit Thanks for reply, puts me in the picture
I'd like to bet it's built and in the UK, but the dealer is 'scheduling' PDIing it into their busy workshop.
Just had phone call, dealer got to pay next week so on way, by all accounts first lot coming all together, hopefully end of first week next month, after that it’ll rain for the rest of the year…
Nope, half the problem is I’m not known for my patience, just feel when spending nearly 30k you’d get regular updates, dealer/staff just a bit laid back, kind of ask for an update and get “yeah, it’s on the way”
