Tough day... 2.5hrs deep-stretch Yin yoga this morning then 2hr Thai/Hawaiian massage outdoors in the beautiful sunshine this afternoon... Now rounding it off with scrummy local stout in the evening sun
On the ferry to Spain, that does attract whale watchers because you go off the continental shelf (it's not a dance!) there was a talk by someone from ORCA about whales. It wasn't thrust down your throat, or anything, but it was interesting and Brittany Ferries do support the charity, so I have . . . . .
As my friend my friend was told when he went for a massage only in Korea. Not possible no happy ending
Been summoned to the shed by Mrs GG who has found this; Seems like it is composed of bits of chip bark brought in by some sort of creature but no idea what; any ideas?
That's very odd looking and it doesn't appear to be nesting material? Can you identify where it has come from near to the shed?
Called in at a petrol station for some fuel, and was amazed how many people must have large gardens. Never seen so many jerry cans, petrol cans, washing up liquid bottles and plastic bags being filled with fuel. On the bright side, the shop had plenty of toilet paper
I’d been watching a documentary about the English longbow yesterday and the effective range was given as 250 - 300 yards, so being curious as to how far my takedown recurve bow, which at 60lb draw weight is about half that of a mediaeval war bow, would shoot, I decided to find out. The answer is “a fucking long way” and a lot further than I expected. The first arrow cleared the entire village cricket ground, a private road and a row of mature horse chestnut trees 135 yards away before burying itself in the soil of the churchyard. Thankfully, it landed in an area which is rarely used, so nobody was tending a grave or going for a quiet evening stroll, else that could have ended up as a Midsomer Murders style whodunnit. I’m standing where I recovered the arrow from today looking back toward where it was shot from marked with a red “X”. The next arrow cleared a row of 60ft high trees 160 yards away and landed in the empty meadow behind them. I’m standing where I shot from looking towards the line of trees (the cars weren’t there last night). I never recovered the arrow, but given that it cleared those trees, I reckon it must have gone c.200 yards.
Looks like you dropped in on MV Agusta, you turncoat Did that crossing of Lake Maggiore last year on the way back from the Dolomites, good memories.
