Finally, the BSB returns this Sunday and Monday at Oulton Park. Some new descriptors for the support series (Moto 4 British Cup instead of Talent Cup) and some big fields too. I’ll be at the marshal’s post infield at Denton’s or outfield on the Avenue as our team will be covering both. Weather doesn’t look great but it doesn’t look bad. Just a word to the wise, the on site restaurant has not been refurbished since the fire last year so your only food (and beer) options on site are the franchises primarily down by the Fogarty Moss Centre. Andy
From what I saw earlier he was second last in qualifying and blaming a new bike and issues (while his team mate took pole and by some distance).
Nice interview with Stuart Higgs at the star of race one on the 30 year anniversary of BsB. Credit to him and appreciate he’s not everyone’s cup of tea.
Enjoyed that. Well done to Kyle (especially), Leon and even G iRW. I can’t ever remember a period I’ve been watching racing where one manufacturer is so dominant across. Bsb/wsb/motogp though. You have to doff your cap really even if it does become predictable and you own one yourself..
Glen Irwin when shakey asked him what went on this weekend… 2 seized clutches Engine failure Leaking petrol tank Someone at Ducati quality control is in for a tough week.
It’s funny, I’ve never met any of the current crop, but I find Glenn annoying and Andy his lunatic brother. I find Brad Ray annoying too. I’m rooting for Leon Haslam, although he does repeat himself, so can be annoying when interviewed. Clearly I’m just grumpy.
Lol that’s like something my dad does and I have no idea what he’s waffling on about when we talk about the weekends racing. Tbf though it’s easy to do with the crap scheduling and tnt trying to squeeze 50 different sports into 4 live channels.
Anyone else think the amount of adverts on TNT live coverage is getting ridiculous? We timed 5 mins of ads between the grid walk and the start of the warm up lap!
Funny how there were 30 Hondas on the superstock grid out of 40 bikes and a beemer won. Sums up their last number of years in the doldrums quite well.
