  1. Hi,

My clear-out continues with the sale of this very nice Motolug SE single bike trailer. It tows beautifully, all cable clips are present and correct as is the 7 pin plug. I will include a long shackle padlock that you can use to lock the trailer to your vehicle as well.

Collection from South Bucks. I will leave it assembled as per pics and you will need to disassemble and put in your car/van. I can provide instruction and tea and biscuits!

I am offering this for sale on this forum only at the very good price of £795, no offers. Two similar examples have sold on eBay yesterday and today for £1004.40 and £995.40 so hopefully you can get an idea of the value here.

PM me to buy or any questions.

  3. Motolugs are great. I have had one just like this for years.

The rivets holding on the mudguards are not quite strong enough, so need replacing with nuts and bolts. I found the wheel bearings had too little grease so I repacked them. Check whether the tyre load and speed ratings are adequate for your intended use.

  4. On this trailer the mudguards are bolted on from factory. Maybe you have an older model I also repacked the hubs myself over winter with fresh grease.
Tyres and wheels carry per manufacturer specs and are good to go.

  13. I'm actually glad he's brought it, as I've spent quite a bit of time over the last day or so doing a bit of Man-maths Justification for buying it and would have probably given in if it hadn't already sold this morning.

  14. strange, I've found that man maths doesn't usually take that long. Your calculator might need updating :upyeah::joy:

  15. I prefer "dismantlable" to "collapsable".

  16. An important distinction I try to teach my labourers in the building trade (not always successfully):

"We'll just beat this wall down".

"No we will not. We'll dismantle it".
