(small) Bike Things You've Done Today

A place near me takes old tyres and batteries for free it’s called the river Severn.

Had new tyres on the Supersport, bought as a package deal from Demon tweeks for £267, local garage fitted them to my loose wheels. Fitted the pannier rack in readiness for my upcoming trip to France.

 

Rode from Andover to Exeter then up to Hereford and only got hit by about 4 microbursts all day. Proper happy with that.
Then got home to a package of Gran Turismo light smoked screen bought from a guy on Facebook, now fitted to the bike.

 

Sounds good - what tyres did you go for ? And a trip to France to look forward to ...

 

I’ve gone for Metzeler Roadtec se 01.
This is my second set, got about 7.5K miles out of the last set

 

Rode to Devon to see an old mate. He’s just bought a V2S, and is absolutely over the moon.

 

Not fitted as we speak but the third one supplied by Pete at you know where in twelve years Ducati ownership.

Fitted this again after a battle

 

Went to Newlands, saw my old R then came home and did an oill/filter change on the Monster.

 

Rode it home, found more spanky roads!

 

Had a message from my 79 year old dad who is away in the south of France with friends for 16 days with old British bikes. Think he's having a good time so far .

Up early, loaded the 937 Monster and my Scrambler Icon onto the trailer in the rain. Got to Winchester an hour later and unloaded the bike trailer in the rain. I suspect when I load the bikes later this morning, it'll be raining. Andy
