  4. Been watching that an Jesus H Christ was Dean flying. Ive watched and been over there for years but it just looked so so committed i was pleased to see him slowing down when the red flag was out.
I also noticed who wasnt shown slowing down or beside the road .
    :-(

  5. All the excitement from that rapid start has just been wiped out with the red flag

  6. I love the place and rode the Manx GP and TT for a few years late 90 and early 2000 but the highs that place gives you are easily matched by the other side.
But fingers crossed for all the obvious reasons. It wont be restated for sure .

  7. You must get such a different feeling from the TT than us motorbike riding fans having competed there. I agree, it won’t restart and may not even run again this year.

  8. Rider conscious and on way to Nobels so happy days , if you get my drift.

  10. You can’t help but feel the deafening silence from “the organisers” does more harm than good these days.

  11. “We ask you not to speculate”

    Lads, it’s 2026 not 1966 anymore, there’s this thing called the internet….

  12. Racing today appears unlikely

  13. No more racing this year.

    Probably for the best.

  14. A bit of a shame, four and a bit races.
Declaring the senior after 1 lap seems a bit short but I don't think anyone would argue that there was ever going to be a challenge for P1, Dean was absolutely on it this year.

  15. Feel sorry for the fans tbh sure they had a great time anyway and it’s always a lottery with the weather but it must be one of the most disrupted tts I can recall in recent years for one reason or another.

  16. That’s a real shame.

  17. He was absolutely flying to the point almost worrying to watch. Not out of control at all but my goodness the speed of him was just mind blowing .
And he is possibly the reason McG is going to retire because he was caught very easily in that race . It’s been reported that he was considering it and yes he is still fast but they shot past the first starting McG and I think he would be thinking that now is maybe obvious it’s time to take a well earned rest.
    but Dean was just flying,

  18. I reckon that's the last one for me for now.
Not because of the weather, as I have seen most conditions having been to every TT since 1995.
The racing they did manage to fit in between the frequent rain was as good as ever and I had a couple of good, traffic-free runs over the mountain, although Windy Corner was more like a lake one day.
The decision by my homestay hosts (since1999) to discontinue, the increasing ferry prices - £375 for bike & rider, minimal options for decent food without spending more than £30 a head each evening, and the probability of a further increase in prices due to the influx of wealthy bucket listers from the USA when the film is released have made the decision for me.
Maybe I'm just getting old and grumpy but I will sit it out and see if it goes boom and bust and maybe have another look in a few years time.
