Just installed the dry clutch cover earlier today. The bottom original bolt is too long now that the original cover is away and hole is left exposed, as the new cover only has 3 anchor points. Anyone know the code for a shortened bolt which will look oem?
Why nut get a suitable size nut, thread it onto the bolt you have, cut about 5mm off the end of the bolt, file smooth any rough edges and then remove the nut, which will clean up the thread as it comes off ? It will only take 3-4 mins if you have a Dremel and a metal cutting disk, longer if you have to do it by hand with a hacksaw.
