Still live in the South of France (where at the minute it is so hot/sun radiation is so strong you can't go outside). Wifie is here in Ballina on business...so I tagged along for the Guinness and the breakfasts
2 window rattling thunderstorms accompanied by biblical downpours here yesterday. So far this morning, just a persistent drizzle. Andy
Raining now. Its been raining hard on and off since Sunday night, though there has been some light rain too.
Do they moan that it's too hot there, as well? Then moan even more when it cools down. Then moan even more when it rains.
aww fir fug sake, would you look at that. someone's put a coin in the meter. i swear someone somewhere does not want me taking a bike out this year. i have to take my monthly trip to Arisaig (Loch Morar) to drop of my paperwork. i asked XC if i could take the Bike. XC said Naw. so, i decided to go up in the car on Sunday and took my firelighters, gin and Spotify to the bottom of the garden instead. XC is a liar.
any luck? - spoke too soon with mine (Fugly) and although closer to the finishing line, i now have an intermittent spark for rear cylinder. Certainly fits in with irregular starting, runs fine once started. I'm going to swap loom and rear coil next.
yip. sorted. before changing anything you could peal back the wires on a 501 bulb and ram into the connection at the coil and monitor the pulse during cranking. is it the punto ECU on your model? that's prone to coil driver issues out with the starter fault. but from memory it's not an intermittent fault.
Its March here. 12 degrees, usually windy with rain showers or worse. But summer apparently restarts at the weekend!
on mine i noticed the ECU wiring runs very close to the lower n/s panel/battery cover mounting bracket and is actually chaffing on it. i'm gonna protect it tomorrow (if i can find the time) just by putting cable ties round the loom it so it rubs on them instead.
Been ok here today really, just a couple of showers in the afternoon. Was lovely yesterday, apart from the Thunder and Lightening, really heavy showers, oh and the Hailstorm the likes of which I've not seen in years. It's June FFS.
