So what have you done today..?

  1. Bought from this supplier before Viv and although their distribution warehouse is in Birmingham (UK), I’m pretty sure the customer service department are in Hong Kong :D What could possibly go wrong ? :joy: My parcel has supposedly arrived at my nearest DX depot but still waiting to be sent out for delivery. Andy

  2. But if the logistics are not updating, how will you receive the notice that your parcel is lost?

  5. Royal Mail are no better. Ordered an item from Laguna Motorcyles on Monday, which was collected from them that night for the Tracked 48 service. RM tracking said "We're expecting it" until Wednesday morning when it changed to "We have your item at Medway Mail Centre. We expect to deliver on 11 June...". It's been like that ever since. I'm hopeful it'll turn up tomorrow, but not holding my breath.

  6. It (actually they) arrived unannounced, about a hour and a half ago. Packaging was ripped to buggery but the items look undamaged. Now got to wait for some sunshine to check voltage output. Damaged packaging duly photographed and reported. I’ll be interested to see what they say  Andy

  7. @Sam1199, package arrived today and it contained 2 x 130W panels so only half as useless :joy: Looked at the compatibility instructions and they recommend a maximum of 4 panels for the Delta 3. If the 2 panels I’ve received work, I can order 2 more although the sale price has now gone up to £40 and of course, surprise surprise, they are out of stock : unamused: :D Andy

  10. Triggered warning.
Fckn hate wallpapering, after 6 Months of it at College back late last Century you can stick a roll up it sideways.

Last 'wallpapering' I did was a product called digimura or however you spell the damn stuff.

A stairwell no joins just one printed piece, fkn huge it was and what pain in the ass.

I refuse that kind of work now, they can stick that sideways too and rectifying other people's fck ups.

  13. It's died a death hasn't it, there's non in this house just paint. Lucky Mrs isn't a fan of wallpaper.

Probably noone teaches it at College, when I went it's all we did solid for 6 Months, 6 F'in Months.

Maybe our lecturer was obsessed by it?

  14. I did a wallpapering job a few weeks ago but that’s the first one I’ve done in a couple of years.

  15. I’ve been decorating since I was 16 now 59 ive often thought for a laugh i would like to write a book but it would be more like confessions of a decorator :D As I’ve seen my fair share of stuff from customers to nudity and then some :scream::thinkingface::dizzy:

To give you a taste and I won’t mention the place a couple every morning would draw the curtain back at around 8am ( and I will add no one was later on that big house build :D) there flat was opposite the house we where decorating would have a shower and then put on a show in there lounge in front of there balcony window:blush:

Also I spent a year walking passed the American embassy the old one to the row of Mews houses near by, our job was opposite and very closely opposite this posh couples place where the young wife would shower again every morning with the clear glass window and then walk about into the bedroom starkers knowing about 20 blokes had there morning cuppa before starting work, especially when she would stand at the window plucking her eyebrows naked:eyes:

  16. brass band fan? I really wanted to go to brassed off live! It’s such an iconic film for us banders

  17. The couple opposite where I'm working are in their eighties and all that happens is their Jack Russel barks its head of at nothing for half the day. That's a racy as it gets in the north Pennines. Probably just as well...
