Hopefully just came back a bit too soon and giving himself a bit more recovery time ahead of Donny. Turkey teeh was saying last weekend that its a years recovery and hes barely done 6 months too.
15 minutes to go in FP1 and neither of the Lowes bros have managed to destroy a bike yet. A season first!
What did you expect ? Jumping backwards and forwards between two very different spec bikes isn’t conducive to competitive performances. I’m sure Vickers would love to get back in the WSBK paddock full time but I’m not sure fill in rides is the right way. Anyway, it’s only Friday morning, let’s hope some muscle memory kicks in. Andy
An injured Jake Dixon was 1.6 off in his first session since last year at Balaton. Not having a pop at Vickers just found it quite surprising in comparison.
Just watching one of the young riders in sportbike have a huge high side in superpole just now. Haines; "James, whats it like when youre flying through the air like that?" TT: "Flying through the air's absolutely fine, it's when you land it hurts a bit". *nods sagely
I see the formal link up between DORNA and BREMBO for 2027. Had a quick squint at the new BREMBO toys, the Hyction carbon ceramic disc and dedicated GP4-HY caliper and pads for the current generation of hypersport road bikes. Mmmmm, bling Andy
Much more interested in super sport and sport bike this weekend. TBA is on for at least a podium or two in ssp and Fenton’s just up the road from me in Chelmsford. Wonder if Hyside give him any support?
