So what have you done today..?

  1. Moh’s is good, very good. I had the one removed from the bridge of my nose and another from the side. When they showed me the wounds after the surgery I looked like The Elephant man. To say I was quite shocked would be an understatement. I thought no one would look at me in the face ever again. They’d scooped bloody great holes out of me. They kept digging until they thought they’d got it all out.

With the Moh’s procedure, which basically keeps the wound wet allowing the skin to grow from the outside edge to the centre, it all grew back fine.

Get your other half to dress the wound daily rather than going back to hospital every day.

Absolutely definitely recommend it. Call me if you want to talk about it.

  2. Today I was a bit tired and struggled to apply myself. Reason being I’ve just flown back to England to see an old friend who’s been diagnosed with not one but two brain tumours. She could check out any time so you never know. Now back in Spain but certainly worth the effort.

It pissed it down all day Thursday so I was glad to get the silver bird out of there…and the misery on the news! Ffs.

The sum total of today’s efforts was to collect and install my new Spanish number plates on the Multi V4 but could I get the 55mm nut off the rear. Not with a 1m breaker bar and not with an air driven impact driver.

When I get up I’m going in search of a 2m scaffold pole, or longer. That usually does the trick.

  5. I lost a friend to a brain tumour 18 months ago, so you have my sympathy.

Why do you need a scaffold pole in order to change your numberplate? Mine are attached with a couple of little yellow plastic bolts that you could probably cut through with a butter knife.

  6. The amount of margin they take is quite extraordinary. I had a stage 0 melanoma removed from my forearm a couple of years ago; it was only the size of a sixpence but they cut 70mm x 30mm right down to the membrane covering the bones and its left a dent in my arm. Skin cancers are wicked conditions and very few of us took precautions when we were kids.

  7. Went to the seaside
