  2. OMG that looks delicious. I am SERIOUSLY thinking about acquiring a very low mileage Gen2 999R for a no expense spared concours rebuild (if I sell my Panigale V4) as it's an appreciating classic and fast becoming an iconic bike. I used to own a 999S and the sound it made from the Termignoni exhaust was like nothing else. Sure, the current crop of superbikes (mine included) sound OK, but a thumping V-twin on song is quite unique. The familiar BRAAARP. BRAAARP as you ride the wave of torque. is very much lacking in the newer crop of bikes. I know they are better in every way technologically, but they lack the soul of the older machines. I hanker back to the days of my 748SPS. Wish I had never sold it.
     
  3. prices at recent auctions dont suggest its appreciating but i dont care
    dealer prices are well out of sync with the market
    but its a beast and im really getting into mine
    the leo vince is outstanding
