Strip off all the bag shit and the hideous mahoosive fairings, pare them right back keeping the racing suspension and brakes and a big inch Harley is quite good fun on the road. 200 bhp and 150-160 ft/lb of torque at 4500 rpm isn't noticably asthmatic. Trouble is, the cost of getting one to that spec would buy you a matching pair of Panigale V4s. Though the big inch HD will be more comfy is you're spherical and have hemorrhoids
How not to launch a new series part #2,398 News, An Italian team joins the Bagger World Cup with Filippo Rovelli | GPone.com I cant believe how murky it is. Not a whiff of it anywhere on the official MGP site either.
Anyone got a clue what they’re referring to “triumph Daytona 660”? Can I assume they’re just 15cc out?
The Daytona 660 was launched by Triumph in 2024 according to Google AI. Probably qualified for the Sportbike support class in the BSB. For the record, I’d never heard of it. Andy
That’s a million US dollar investment, just in buying the bikes for what is in essence, 6 fun day out demonstration rides. European Bagger racing in 2026 only has 4 rounds and is open to a wider choice of motorcycles. I don’t see it catching on here, there just isn’t the sponsorship/investment available. Andy
Just been reading an article on gp one about ianone's special lid for the baggers that took place at assen this weekend. Not only had i completely forgotten the series even existed but there wasnt a whiff of it on comms or the tv schedule. What an utterly bizarre waste of time and money (unsurprisingly).
