  1. Brother and his twin girls are staying with us, so cooked 'The World's best Lasagna'. This is genuinely what it is called. Great food with a good glass of red. ;)

    (The Lasagna IS amazing! :upyeah:)

  2. Interesting.

One might imagine annoying subsonic vibrations (or picking up radio stations on one's fillings?)

  3. Third building down in the photo's. Too many visitors for my liking.

  4. Could I ask which ones please?

  5. My GF uses Shokz. Swears by then.

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  6. Double washed and ceramic sprayed both cars, then went to modify the bird feeders again. Having stopped the parakeets eating us out of house and home, the latest broods of sparrows seem to have absolutely no table manners and we were losing more seed on the ground than to them. Ordered some 10” plastic plates from Amazon, got the drill and the cable ties out and now the uneaten seed is being caught and recycled.

  11. Went to a steam engine rally and caught up with late fathers engine. Used to get roped in for heavy work when he stripped it to repair thr firebox and boiler. Did my road roller licence on it as well

  14. Same sentiment towards my daughters dog, whilst it was nice having her over I don’t miss her digging up the plants eating them and being sick.

  15. And why is it the silly bastards still dig up and eat the plants knowing it’ll make them ill? Retards the lot of them!

  16. None of the dogs we've had have eaten plants in the garden, just the odd blade of long grass.
We had a Boxer that stripped all the lemons off lady Nashers ornamental Lemon tree after getting up on the dining room table, but they did look like toys.

And they've all been Rescues, none of them trained well from puppies, and all with plenty of other behavioral issues.

  17. Annoyingly still nursing two surprisingly badly burned fingers this morning after sticking them in the bash plate of my MS Enduro Friday afternoon to retrieve a dropped fastener having just had the engine running.
Those Exhaust headers get very hot you know!

It’s mad isn’t it, I’ve always got scrapped, grazed, cut and bashed digits, and just deal with it, but the pain from a deep burn is relentless and on a different level.

Actually, the best they've felt all weekend was after spending most of yesterday in the garden and the open Blisters were covered in dirt and all sorts of other stuff.

  18. I believe I'm in the middle of a scam or more precisely attempted scam
A couple of weeks ago recieved a text which started "Hi Nationwide here" it went on to say that they had recieved my application for a mortgage and the next step would be that they would have a valuation carried out but not to worry if i wasn't in as they could still do it.
It was one of those texts with no facility to reply too.
So i rang nationwide and spent an hour on the phone with them
They have no record of our property or names or contact details.
Could possibly be someone got a wrong digit in the phone number and we are getting the message by mistake.
Today recieved another 2 messages recieved.
The first stating the valuation had been carried out and the application was being reviewed
The second stating that the mortgage application was successful and to click a link to "learn more"
Its along time since I applied for a mortgage but I dont think this is the way it's done.
I shall await the next text message

  19. SCAM
