A truly WTF moment - just when you thought you would never see anything "wackier" in the music scene. Lee Heemoon involved in some interesting stuff/not to everyone's taste maybe.
I see this is being used as the World Cup walkout music (although the Chicago Bulls allegedly used it to better effect).
yes he did, it looks like he's eked out a decent living from his career, I'm very envious. I never got round to seeing the Alan Parsons project at the height of their popularity, but again they're still playing aren't they?
Used to have a proper soft spot for the APP...some of it crosses over to meh...but the best stuff proper resonates with the era.
Touring Europe & North America Chris, no UK dates. I always wondered how they would work as a live act with so many different vocalists and the instrumentation, and especially now Eric Woolfson has passed.
Will watch that in a minute. This is in the wrong thread but I reckon that Angine de Poitrine Stole some of their act from the Russian film Kin Dza Dza from 1986. You really have to see it, I will not even touch the sides if I start trying to describe it. cult classic for sure.
Desert Island Discs had Fat Boy Slim as their guest. He had this on his list... I hadn't heard it before...
Last night I was mostly listening to Metallica, went to see them in Cardiff, absolutely bloody brilliant. Hadn't seen them since the Freddie Mercury tribute concert at the old Wembley
We were in Cardiff for the Blackbird Festival on Saturday. Hotel prices for the weekend were ridiculous. Andy
We stayed near Newport, thinking it would be cheaper and easier, it was cheaper. Got in the car at 10.30pm, got in the hotel, 18 miles away at 12.50am, with satnav trying to avoid the worst of the congestion. The roads didn't cope well with 76,000 people leaving at the same time. Glad we stayed and didn't decide to drive back to Lincoln last night.
