So what have you done today..?

  1. Be careful. I almost jumped ship to another insurer about 18 months ago but inertia, disorganisation and laziness led to an autorenewal and thank God it did, because about a month later Iggy almost died from a hitherto undiagnosed congenital liver problem that needed major surgery to correct, which any new insurer would probably have deemed a pre-existing condition, leaving me with a £12k vet’s bill.

  2. Make sure they cover any ongoing illness AFTER renewal, as a lot of insurers will pay out, right up until the renewal date, then shut the claim down. You want an insurer that will pay out for the duration of any illness, NOT just until the policy renews, as you can be left with some huge bills if one of them gets a long term illness.

  3. It covers for life allegedly.

  4. What with it being too cold and wet, or too hot, I put off taking the tyre off the bent (ish) 999 front wheel - until today. Finally unpacked the MAX2H.

A result, all in all. I didn't have a heart attack. The mirror still says I'm a fat bastard, but I feel a whole lot thinner. I haven't got so dirty in a long time.

The main reason I don't do such jobs when it's raining is I have to put the 900 outside. So it was outside, in full sun. And it looked fabulous! The red 999 looks great because it looks mean, like it belongs on a race track. The SS looks great because it's yellow.
