916 Fairings In The Shed?

  1. Hey All,
Anyone have some 748/9*6 lower fairings laying around not being used? I’m not fussy on the colours or they have scratches(preferably no cracked or broken panels please). I can have them painted to match my existing panels.
    Thanks ☺️

  2. I do and was gonna say I will drop them off, but then saw your location……

  3. I neglected to say I’m am happy to pay for them and postage of course.

  4. Sorry can't help, I do have fairies at the bottom of my garden though.

  6. I am planning on fitting a oil catcher belly pan and trimming a brand new set to fit is sacrilegious

  7. Then I think you need two side panels and a race belly pan.

  8. That’s correct I am looking for the two lower panels. Left and right.
Race belly pan I have under control.

  9. I have these from a 748 998 slab bottom fairings IMG_7849.jpeg

  10. Mine is a race set up. No join in the side panels, belly pan for spillages.

  11. Hi Dave,
Those look so tempting but I believe the slab sided panels have a different profile to accommodate the updated V-piece. Not sure if they are plug n play to the older duct ed panels.

  12. Very nice setup Paul. :upyeah:
May I ask where you found the mounting brackets for the belly pan?

  13. They came with the bike and in fact the one in the photo is the wrong size, so top panel fitted to belly pan, but not the bracket.

  14. When I had a similar setup on my 916SPS Bitsa I made the belly pan support brackets myself out of aluminum alloy sheet.
It was pretty simple to do.
