A thing that they have here is at traffic light controlled pedestrian crossings is countdowns to show how long until the green person trotting across the crossing and a countdown to show how long you have left to cross. Simple but helpful.

I've now booked a hotel in |Madrid. Bit strange as this place is fooking expensive, but I couldn't get in until next April. Anyway, I'm happy with it. Next puzzle to solve is how to get there. It will be a flight to Madrid Barajas airport. controversial as I realise because it is actually IN Madrid. I am sure that a bucket and spade bundle-for-a-seat airline that does not actually fly to Madrid would be cheapest, but I am a bit funny. I want to go to the Madrid airport that is actually in Madrid! If i was coming into this country to visit London, why do airlines think that I need to fo to Cardiff airport? I've got Worcester next week and then that will be it for the year. I've got a Beeza to play with!
Booked the flight from Heathrow. I'll try out getting a train to Otis and then the rail/air bus to Heathrow, just to see how it flows.
Thing is, I have to accept that I do get tired much more easily now, since the accident and I am just getting older. I just don't need to push things. The BSA was bought without any luggage options because I just want something to get out on and enjoy. I've no idea as to its range on a full tank and that's fine. I don't care.
Just been outside to try and sync a different phone to my car as i don't want to use the iPhone for navigation. Google is in a different league. I thought that I would go out on the bike around now but it is still hot and I'm baked from sitting in the car. Although I am not a morning person, whilst we have such light mornings and it is a bit cooler, I am the one that is going to have to change and start getting up in the morning! I've been to Spain twice this year and have just booked to go again next year. I need to take on the siesta habit!
