fuck me, i just cant seem to catch a break i paid in full for the V2, two weeks ago, it was supposed to turn up Tuesday, then Wednesday, then today, its been insured a week. so it turns out there is a misfire and a code, they've changed a sensor but it won't clear. i am beginning to have doubts now, its from Audi Epsom, and the service ha s been a bit shabby, i have to keep calling them. the wankrs at ducati Nottingham we're shabby too, and they sold me a bike that had been tracked
Yeah, an orange & pale blue Super Duke thing that was stickered up & strangely attractive... Haven't seen the Kwacker.
so update it's been sent to moto rapido for a software update, and i know they are top blokes, so when it come back it will be 100% mint. i hope.
If i think i've been unlucky in this past couple of years, i only have to re-read this thread to remind myself that i got off lightly. Really sorry to hear the latest slCBR. If your Ducati experience so far was a regular occurence i think this Forum would have far less members.
If your luck was any worse, you'd have none at all! Any idea when you will get it delivered to you doorstep?
no date yet, i hope early next week, but i am also super busy at work, and it means taking a day off i hope they phone and say its ready, will be with you in a couple of hours but the fact that i own two panigales and cant ride either is an amusing first world problem
so the new baby turned up and its a no brainer, the 899 will be the one to go the V2 is a differernt animal, the blipper is beautiful, love it and the akras are so loud and bassey, much more than the termignonis, and they aren't quite. the engine just hammers torque and power, did 60 miles on it this morning, left at 7
so here i am, 14 months on i went in to day i went in to check progress, and guess what, they've done fuck all, two of the 4 con rod bolts used, bike in bits, nothing done for 2 months i am fckin fuming, they have pissed me about so much i have sent an polite but direct email saying i want my bike back by September or October otherwise ill be going down the legal /court route, although easily avoided if they do their jobs i am also very concerned that a bike taken apart last year is not going back together nice and easy a year later, bits and parts might go back in the wrong place or be forgotten conpletely they have basically taken my pride and joy, which i had spent about £13K on iand turned it into a pile of valueless junk, surely theres a law against garages working on vehicles and damaging them or devaluing them?
Personally I’d have the cunt by the throat up the wall, take my bike and cut my losses. I’d have zero faith left in them for the simple fact your engines been in bits for ages. I know it’s money and it stings but better to bail now mate. Make sure all written communication is kept then plaster thr internet with shit reviews. They are wankers and not to be trusted. Feel for you. Just awful
Really sorry to read this, it's no wonder people lose their trust in human nature. So - small outfit in Hastings, if i've got this right. One for us all to avoid.
