Motorcyclists in groups so hell bent on not letting someone past? I will get past you, the easy way or the hard way. I understand you want a potter with your mates but its not hurting you to leave a space to let someone past. C6nts. Worse than cyclists
I know what you mean. Some certified lady gardens about now and then. Though I have never met any worse than cyclists.
I’d rather have piles again than go out in a large group. Painful. Three is the max if you have to have a “companion” and only then when you know for 100% certain one of the other two isn’t going to dither about and ruin your ride.
If there's three, the trick is to lose both of them as fast as possible and simply meet at the cake stop nearest home.
Your absolutely correct. I shouldn't have been so lazy and got myself out of bed early doors this morning.
This is incorrect advice. Early mornings are full of people in spandex who like to eat avocado for breakfast. Late afternoon is the answer you’re looking for when they’re all eating avocado for tea in their back gardens.
1%’ers or just normal civilians on their rice burners and crotch rockets (more likely to be sensible tourers and adventurer bikes nowadays)?
It pushes my button I've had formal training to lead and back mark organised group rides over the years. Covid lock down showed groups of 5 or 6 riders is manageable. Last few years, I've decided the group I used to ride with can take a hike, discipline is appalling. Apart from mentored IAM RS associate rides, it's just me and her, way more fun. Andy
Well I know it was Saturday night/ Sunday morning. You must live in an interesting place. Still watch out for the nutjobs!
I don't like rideouts personally. You get someone who wants to be the leader. Who can't handle corners. USA! Or similar. Small group with people of the same ability as myself, fine.
Normal people on their tourers and adventure bikes. Why fo they feel the need to ride around stood up on adventure bikes? They aren't negotiating a downhill gravel track? That last straw had me going past the lot of them on the back wheel flat on third. It could all have been avoided with some road manners. The 1%er that tried it had me brushing mirrors with him
