Early this year I pulled/tore thigh abductor muscle cocking leg over 916 and it's taking ages to heal, lots of excerises and stretching ongoing. Shouldn't complain as other than a large rock busting big toe on M40 and a bit of bruising/whiplash my 30yrs have nothing worse than wasp stings....really shouldn't temp fate with this post !
the black eye and bruised scrotum i'm gonna get when i tell the Mrs she aint getting back on the bike until she looses a bit of weight. up until the other day i had a perfectly functioning rear shock. i'm now pretty certain, and immediately after she went pillion for the first time in a while, my rebound damping is no more.
3 weeks ago I burnt two fingers on the exhaust manifold of my Multi so badly that one of them still isn't healed properly. Someone I know took the end of his finger right off at the last joint oiling his chain.
You have my sympathies over the abductor issue, I had problems with mine when playing squash. I didn’t have the guts to tell the pretty young physio who was dealing with my other problems as it was far too close to eerhem….
Not my injury, but I was stopped at traffic lights on my turbo CBX, which had a 3" exhaust coming from under the tank to the rear. Little kid ran up and stuck his hand on the exhaust just as it came off the turbo. Take ages to clean the burnt skin off the chrome. Bloody mother blamed me for that
I dislocated my shoulder trying to unfold my ear from the lining of my helmet. https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/mike-tyson-comeback.80187/page-2#post-1694263
Not on bike but my pointing finger just locked in the pointy position, I forced it to bend and something snapped , six months later im still not able to bend it properly and its still swolen and sore. Bike related was catching my firestorm as it fell over and as a result pulled something in my wrist. Most painful was gallstones along with pancreatitis and just to help it along blocked bile ducts and jaundice, iv never ever in my life felt anything as bad, I thought I was going to die, in fact a fellow retired firefighter was in a different hospital in icu with similar at same time but didnt survive , very nasty.
Ha ! I have exactly the same problem with youngish (hope she never reads this !)female physio. She's sorted knee, hip problems but this is just a bit high up !
