On the weekend replaced the clutch on the sxv with an STM in an attempt to stop it slipping....test ride to work on that yesterday...mission accomplished. Then sunday replace the starter on the hyper with the newer denso model. I think, good...out of the garage the start was a little problematic but, the return home (at the office it started probably the quickest ive seen it) - more importantly ive fixed a long standing oil leak (which im guessing turned out to be the instant gasket on the generator side (now fitted with a gasket.)
I'd like to ask all to cross anything they can, the 1260 was dropped off to Ducati this morning and I am hoping it's a stupid gremlin causing my recent electrical woes. Please be kind, Ducati gods, my soul is red and my heart in the shape of an L (twin)... Do not be an expensive fix
Saw a consultant Urologist, he was happy with my PSA at 1.2, he was not at all happy with a condition I have, called Phymosis, that has deteriorated rapidly since being referred by my GP 10 months ago. I'm now on his urgent surgery waiting list, for which I am very grateful. I'm not looking forward to the relatively minor procedure at my age but needs must. Andy
Still waiting to get some scaffolding erected, and have lost the first week of my holiday to get the work done. So today Lady Nasher and I spent a few hours at Mottisfont, which is @ an hour from us: https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/hampshire/mottisfont We're NT members so apart from the usual coffees, cakes, and a pasty for lunch it wasn't even an expensive day out. Well worth a visit if like us you enjoy that sort of thing. I could have spent all day in the walled garden, let alone anywhere else.
