Ooo... so he has and I see they're talking about a big stadium bout in the autumn which gives them both some time to recover....
So six months or less I guess. If its another win for Dubois, game over. If its a draw or win for Wardley, they will probably fight again next year too.
So far, they’ve shown live on air a fella struggling for breath on the floor for ten minutes after being knocked out with medics attending him and let someone with a dislocated shoulder walk out of the ring with his arm flapping about completely unaided.
Surely it’s the role of the BBBOC and their medical staff, along with the corner to attend to the guy with the dislocated shoulder? The airing of the guy being attended to on the floor by doctors and paramedics, will have been selected by the editor. Given that it’s a British show in Bournemouth, under the BBBOC and show live on Sky Sports Action Live, I think your assumptions are misdirected.
Don’t think Dana white/zuffa had anything to do with bbboc but could be mistaken. It’s pretty much Liv golf for boxers isn’t it?
“…sanctioned under the auspices of the BBBOC…” Any professional boxing taking place in the UK happens on the above terms. Dana White/Zuffa will have had to comply fully with BBBOC, otherwise the fight would not have been able to happen in the UK.
Well that looked dodgy. The big Albanian smacks Joshua all over the place (decked him twice) in the first round…. Then in the second round leans on the back foot and waits to get cracked… hmmm
Blatant wasn't it, he seemed to look at his corner then totally stops throwing punches... Wonder how much of a 'bonus' he got for laying down...
Hilarious watching the toad Eddy running around the ring yelling and panicking whilst his golden goose was getting battered… Prenga was obviously spoken to on his stool at the end of round 1…
Just seen 'highlights' of the fight... dear oh dear... Andy Ruiz all over again but in double quick time. Joshua is a boxer no more, non existent defence, glass chin and robotic hesitant movement. But what really grates is the grinning self deluded confidence and arrogance over the fact he's beaten a 3rd rate fall guy. And what grates even more is the BBC who are still fawning over him with an 'emotional win' and a comeback from the 'darkest periods' where you can 'relive Joshua's dramatic comeback knockout win". It's insulting and just who the chuff do they and Hearn and Joshua think they are trying to kid... and why do people seemingly still fall for it. Tyson v Joshua... two old uncles fighting at a wedding.
Haha. That's exactly what my son said. Also, in the post-fight interview AJ jokingly said something about Eddie Hearn signing Praga and given his propensity for having zero filter and talking far too much, it might be a case of "many a true word spoken in jest".
Even though Fury won against Wach he looked absolutely terrible. It was like two geriatric delinquents having a straightener in the back room of a snooker hall.
Many years ago I worked in a classic suburban pub replete with a working man's bar, a small quiet smoke room and a red flock wallpapered lounge with carpet. The latter being a cultured spot where, of a weekend, you could take you're missus out for a Babycham or perhaps a couple of snowballs. Anyway, in the said lounge on a quiet Wednesday evening a couple of similar geriatrics got into a heated discussion that escalated into physical confrontation. This involved grunting & rolling & grappling with each other on the floor whilst knocking the furniture over and frightening the one other occupant who was hoping to enjoy a peaceful barley wine or two. One of the combatants, who fancied himself as a bit of thespian replete with booming voice, cravat & toupee, had the latter knocked askew during the melee. The manager intervened and unceremoniously threw them both out and barred them for a week. I don't recall the aggravation continuing in the car park....
I’d have fucking loved to have been there to witness that. Superb entertainment and probably better than AJ and Tysons efforts
Picture must've been soon after they pinned him down as they haven't managed to put his anti-spit mask on yet
