january 2012.............when did the Pani come out? whats the diference in time between the Pani coming out and Jan 2012...........a few months? before realising it needed changing?

What concerns me, is that for such an exclusive and limited number of bikes at just 500. There seems to have been a lot of invites/ emails received by people to potentially purchase 1. So have Ducati sent letters to Desmo owners and Emails to all other R owners I wonder? TBH I haven't yet decided what I'd choose to do, owning a Desmo at some point was the preferred plan. Having swung my leg over a Panigale recently, I still dislike the way the rear Shock sticks out and rubs against your leg. Which makes it really awkward. Anyway no doubt a decision will be made at some point. The Panigale Senna would seem a more sensible/ easier option if you could get hold of 1 and less of them allegedly. ;0)
you do realise that pretty much everybody here owns a ducati and there's a very good chance that those replies show a slightly disproportionate response. I very very doubt users of Kawasaki or even an mv forum have even mentioned it. Saying that, where my flipping email/letter
Invite is one thing, buying is another... 60 odd grand if that's how much is a lot of lolly for a bike that's currently struggling at top level, and timing of the RCV1000R too! (on the quiet hoping my mate buys one, go on mate you know you want one)
Got an invite, that'll be as far as it goes for me I think, although I might grab a few lottery tickets over the next few months.....
