Seemed to be unstable on heaving braking, whether it was the guy was on it or the slipper wasn't working brilliantly, but lots of squirrelling and snaking. Its like watching Kopes videos, all the electronics allowing you to pin it straight off the apex. Sounds more like a Ducati than the panigale you think?
I bet its going to be a very useable bike, sounds like it likes to be revved hard. I think they should have made it a tad lighter than the 1199 though
I think its his riding style more than anything, I follow Ismael on Youtube, he's an ex 250GP rider and seems to like it when the bike gets loose like that under hard braking.
Lap two, the rider was going for it. Seems to spin up quicker than the 848 ? Looks rather nible amd bars seem solid when breaking. Cool vid nonetheless.
Agree, his flick-flack thru that chicane at pace is like its been sped up. I did wonder whether its his riding style, my evo did that on heavy braking because of the forces not the slipper so no surprise. Made me interested..
it is, you can see yourself nailing corners etc....saying, "man this bike is ****in good ! " Do it... See, thats wrong....there aint nothing "cheap" about it. Ppl say the same about the 749 to 999, 848 to 1098 etc that theyre cheaper versions. I dont agree. They're just smaller versions. So does that mean the cbr600rr is a cheap cbr1000rr...nope. Come on, really... You think when I role up beside a 1098 or a Pani i cringe and sayto myself: do they think Im a wannabe cheapy ducatisti. That would also be a NO from me. This min-fang-dang-pani-gala is a rocking little bike. I can afford but splurged already on two bikes in the last yr...so Im gonna sit it out i think. But for anyone who does wanna buy one, go ahead and enjoy it, top job.
