I rig Aerials & Satellites & the bottoms Fallen out the business Sky the Barstewards putting stuff in for free & Then getting peeps used to paying 50 squid a month forever. I am trying to sell mine. In almost 2 months got 2 legit emails. One arranged viewing and never arrived just vanished. One made offer of 2500 saying I am stupid expecting to get 3.5k (list of mode slightly longer then yours) when bike is 14y old. That they apparently normally sell for 1900
Both of your bikes are much better than a lot of the crud currently on ebay trying to sell for higher prices. Off work with man flu, I've nothing better to do with my time than trawl ebay and believe me there is some over priced rubbish around from both punters and dealers. Talking to MR, for some reason the second hand market has suddenly gone static and not neccessarily due to the onset of short days and grotty weather. If you can afford to, I'd say stick out for a reasonable price but if you can't I hope you don't have to sell the bikes cheaply. Andy
Unfortunately bikes are only worth what the market dictates, I'm selling one of mine and the offers aren't what I wanted but that's the way it goes
996 Totally agree ...... But considering what the steelers are asking for the same bikes !!! with their dodgy 3 month more holes than a collider warrantys ! I worked in the motortrade for 23yrs I Know !!! I really dont understand why peeps think because its from a dealer its Good
Just curious why negotiable a lot? There are bikes out there with less extras but less mileage selling for a lot more then 4k frankly
hello mate, not sticking my oar in with Bradders comments, however I have a 996s 2000 bp and 2 owners from new, 8000ish miles, and was offered only slightly more on trade-in, I argued the toss, ie Gilles, carbon headlight bucket etc etc etc, he said its the same price with or without the goodies, this time of year people are reluctant to buy, I looked at selling my 6 month old Multi during the week, and was offered trade only, again regardless of the extra's, another comment was that you might like the extra's the potential buyer might not
Part out the good bits and stick the bike up for 3k, it will sell then. Sure many will be up dor more, but are they selling. Winter, Older Ducati, rep of expense, base model bip, buyers market imho. But I tend to sell my bikes cheap coz once I decide to sell, they are sold, if you get my drift
for £4k id keep it, finances and space permitting..what else can you buy for that money thats as sexy...? maybe a weekend with a hot ladyboy, but thats about it..
Fair point with extras, saying that it sounds like a standard line from dealers. I can always put most of the stock parts back on (bar rims) and sell it then at lower price. Rest would go piece by piece.
