  1. Anyone seen this from Julia Stevenson on Facebook? she is trying to sort out a continuous ring of bikes around the M25 on Sunday 10th November :upyeah:

  2. Who hell she?

  3. pass, but seems a good cause, I did RTTW a few weeks back, and anything that promotes the forces gets a thumbs up from me

  8. It sounds like a feckin nightmare and a very good way of pissing off Joe Public. Imagine a convoy of bikes taking up a lane on the M25, no thanks. The last 'go slow' protest ride a couple of years back delayed my mum getting to a cancer appointment at hospital. I know this is a remembrance ride, but will those caught up in it care? I'll show my respects for fallen comrades at my local memorial.

  9. Daft Idea. This is not the USA. Remembrance Sunday ids for the armed forces, not publicity seeking activities.

  13. :biggrin::biggrin: I'm such a tool

  14. A couple of thousand bikes circulating the M25 will go completely unnoticed by the great unwashed.

  15. yee of little faith, its getting quite a lot of press now, the Lady has put a lot of effort in, I hope it works out

  16. You might say that, I could not possibly comment.

  17. Don't get me wrong, it's a good deed and I sincerely hope it goes well. I have done a lot of work for charidee (but I don't like to talk about it...), like blood running for two years solid, and just tonight coughing up £50 in the name of breast cancer awareness. I just don't think this'll have the impact she's expecting, that's all.

  18. looks to be going ahead this Sunday, has been well publicised on Facebook, and some of the radio stations, I intend to go from Cobham services

  19. A few mates from our local club are going to this to make a change from our usual Duxford Remembrance Day run out. Will be interesting to see how it goes ! I wish them well any how :smile:

    Brilliant day out, and just read on the BBC that it was a success, I'm sure next year will be bigger
