How many 748-998 owners have upgraded their rearsets? Add a few pictures and you're opinion of them. So far I have looked at Bonamici, GB moto, Gia-Moto and Design corse. I'm undecided on colour but I think the satin silver like the original rearsets would look cool. Cheers Haydn
A thought that has crossed my mind a few times, but I find on long journeys the weight is on my wrists quite a lot and wonder if my feet were further back would there be even more pressure on them. Steve
Good point. Although I think most of them have enough adjustability to get a comfortable setting for the road. My original sets need replacing so this is one option as long they're tasteful.
Ducati corse ones on mine..... anodised black.... lots of grip and adjustable....I find them really comfortable.
Acculign; With double eccentric and multi-mounting points they are very adjustable (even if once set, never adjusted) but I see them as a work of technical art...
most rear sets are actually up sets they don't go back more up i have the corse ones too and they are up around 20 mm…………..bit like shoving your heels up your arse……bit uncomfortable for us normal height people!
Ive got a pair of those. Theyre sat on t'shelf as theyre not that great and besides no heel plates either. I'll use em for something to laugh at and think of you. :tongue:
Heel plates are gay. I need another set for my other conversion (have I mention that?) sell them to me....Cheap! :wink:
You can ave em. pm your addy and I'll send you umpteen pizza's and all those plates and dolls you see advertised in TV mags along with maybe the sets. If I'm feeling generous. I'll have a look for em. I dont want anything for them. Didnt cost me that much if i recall anyway. Now where are they in my garage........
Damn, missed a cheapie/freebie. What make are they Nelson? I had Gilles on my Daytona and i do agree with Nelson in that they look too fussy and IMHO they were poor quality too.
