Tickets booked for TT but struggling to get ferry and accommodation, anyone able to help.... the he tickets only went on sale today at 10am but frustrated at trying to get the bike plus 2 on ferry and a place to sleep! thanks
Have you been before? If not I wouldn't take the bikes, just get a flight over and see what it's all about. A lot of people take a transit van over with the bikes In the back. The best bike for the TT is a road legal mx bike or green laner. You can find shortcuts once the roads are closed and allows you to see the race from more than one viewing spot.
If it's race week you are wanting to attend then you are pretty screwed, contact 01624 694456 (Regency - TT breaks) or there website is Isle of Man TT Races 2014 - Tickets & Accommodation - IOM TT Breaks. They might have an odd ferry ticket and possibly camping but you'll be lucky. I normally go for the practice week, much cheaper and the roads aren't as busy.
I am member of the TT forum join up and post your requirements you could be lucky and find something. I have stayed home stay before if you get ferry tickets home stay will most likely your best bet. You might have to go as foot passenger.
