Fork removal/font paddock stand.

  1. Will one of these type o' stands elevate the bike enough to remove the forks?

    Yup - there's a hole in the clamps.:upyeah:

  2. Only if your bottom yoke has a hole in it. The 916 oem doesn't for instance.

  4. Yes...or buy a bunch of 4x2 and some nuts and bolts and build your own ;-)

  6. Ive got one of those ABBA with the front lifter that everyone is arguing about in that other thread. :tongue: My 916 now has that nice billet ohlins one that comes with the forks, so nerny.
     
  7. Got one lined up to borrow, just wasn't sure if they got the bugger up high enough to slip the forks out.
    The sucker of cocks that sold me the forks neglected to metion the leaky seals along with the other issues!
     
  8. Got ohlins then...they all do that sir! Do some research, as some recommend a non ohlins seal which allegedly lasts longer
     
  9. mine works, and has no wood worm and is not a flammable risk. :wink:

    look at the one here……………it might be cheaper

  13. Think mine was ricambi weiss, about £80 and had half a dozen differ t size pins

  15. If it lifts the wheel off the ground, it's high enough to get the forks out. :wink:
